DIRECTORS STATEMENT

The film is about compassion and sharing, those great virtues and values which make one a better human being. Understanding sheds away the hostilities & hatred, providing insights which lead to peace, concern & sharing.

The film shares the view that nobody should be underestimated, that everybody is unique and so is every culture. The tribal boy who also works in the market while studying, is mostly ridiculed, even humiliated by others. But he displays great values, skills & knowledge which surprises his fellow lad.

Impact of globalization on Ethnic Cultures and the Images of a slowly eroding and vanishing culture also is depicted. The tribal boy is searching the forest for herbs, now rare and difficult to get, for his ailing mother...

The film makes the children aware of the realities like global warming, climate change, De-Forestation, Extinction of exotic species and rare herbs.

The film at large intends to connect the children closer to Nature and ends in a note of hope, an empathetic transformation by the willful exchange of cultural values.
